Yeah, I didn't actually listen to what he said

but here's CNN's video of Al Gore endorsing Barack Obama today. No matter what inspiring words his speechwriter undoubtedly supplied him to deliver, as I watched it with the sound turned off (the way I watch most things), I wondered if it is difficult for Al to campaign for other presidential candidates when his own victory was stolen from him eight years ago. Guess that environmental stuff keeps him busy, but I'd be pissed if I were him.

Look on the bright side

I almost think President of the United States would be a step down for Gore at this point. He's an international figure, educating people on a pressing environmental issue - the issue of our time and he's one a friggin Nobel Peace Prize. Not to mention he's making gazillions of dollars.

Who wants to be President anyway?

Oops

sorry, won
rough morning

Stolen Schmolen

Gore gave that election up to Bush by being a wishy-washy robot during the campaign. If we'd seen even half the passion he has during "An Inconvenient Truth", Gore would've received a lot more votes, and he'd have been president.

The Democratic Party's expertise is shooting themselves in the foot, accurately and repeatedly.

Ok, maybe

but it was still a stinky deal any way you slice it. I would have rather had shot-in-the-foot Democrats in power all this time than warmongering Republicans.

Swoop

I thought for sure that AG would swoop in and take the nomination since it seemed likely that the Clinton & Obama campaigns were intent on gutting each other.

Alas...
